April 4 — Eddie doing what he loves in the Texas Hill Country.
Ok, I have to admit prejudice — Brianna & Julianna are my granddaughters and I love them to pieces — but they really are beautiful, photogenic girls. We had a blast playing with them today, and we miss them so much already after their Memorial Day weekend visit to New York.
Ever the teacher, I wanted to show what I did to create this final photo that I posted on Facebook for our family. Last week we met Eddie’s sister’s family at Disney and we asked one of the Disney photographers to take this photo with my Panasonic point & shoot. The camera was set to take RAW images, and I processed it in Abobe Lightroom 4.

Today was a happy day, and I was constantly snapping pictures with my nikon at the playground and later in the house. These two pictures show the spirit of the day…
These two photos are a follow-up to yesterday’s Brianna Ballerina. Eddie put the Nutcracker on for her before Christmas, and ever since she has been asking to see it (Netflix can be very useful) over and over again. She dances, and watches, and she tries new moves. Can’t wait to see what happens when she goes back to ballet class on Monday.
