A composite edit…

Ever the teacher, I wanted to show what I did to create this final photo that I posted on Facebook for our family. Last week we met Eddie’s sister’s family at Disney and we asked one of the Disney photographers to take this photo with my Panasonic point & shoot. The camera was set to take RAW images, and I processed it in Abobe Lightroom 4. The photographer took two images. The exposure was better in the first, my Eddie’s eyes were closed and little Maya was rubbing her face. The solution was to remove Eddie’s face and the carriage with the little girls from the second photo, and paste them into the first. I then worked with the exposure and color to produce the final image. It is a bit over the top — HDR — but I think it works well for a pose in front of Cinderella’s Castle.
