Recently we met some friends from up north (way north, they are from Minnesota) at the John’s Pass Boardwalk in Madiera Beach, just north of St. Petersburg Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. The area is made for tourists, in fact, without tourists I don’t think there would be a John’s Pass. The most fun of being there, with my Nikon DSLR and telephoto lens, was observing the observers.These shots were taken on the boardwalk, which runs perpendicular to the harbor. People were strolling up and down, wandering in and out of shops,and enjoying a drink outside the wine bar. The street singer was collecting money, only not very much. Poor kid looked like he was having a rough time.
