Our home base in Arizona is Sierra Vista, a small city southwest of Tucson and home to Fort Huachuca Army installation, where my stepson Brian is station as an instructor. The city is in a valley, elevation 4,633 feet, surrounded by the Huachuca Mountains. It has been raining on and off all day, and as we left our motor home late this afternoon the clouds covering the mountains were magnificent. A little later, when we pulled into a parking lot in town, I took a photo of a flock of birds perched on overhead wires.
