Lake Myosotis panorama…part 3

Categories Landscape, Photoshop Tips1 Comment

After making exposure adjustments to the first image in Lightroom, I applied the same setting to the other nine images. I then exported all of the images to the Photomerge function in Photoshop to create the panorama. Photomerge does and excellent job on merging the photos, and I could not discern any seams between sections of the panorama. In the process of merging the photos, the edges always become uneven, a big problem before the advent of Content Aware Fill in Photoshop CS5.

Image as it looked after Photomerge.
White areas selected and Content Aware Fill applied.

Photoshop did an excellent job of filling in the white area. A bit of final cropping, and the panorama was complete!

  1. Hi Linda, that was very interesting. I’ve never tried to make a panorama photo, but you made it look doable. I took a job with a tag sale company and have been working alot. When I have the time I try to blog as much as possible. Today I am going out to take pictures. Hope to see you soon and that you have lovely holidays with your family. Cheers Lori
