Today we drove into an unexpected snowstorm. We were closely monitoring the weather along our route, and to avoid a snowstorm we diverted off I-10 at El Paso and headed due east along the Mexican border. Our destination for the night was Pancho Villa State Park in Columbus, New Mexico — about a mile north of the border. About 10 miles from town it started to snow-shower, and by the we set up the RV it was a near blizzard. Just before sunset the snow let up, and I went outside to take some photos. These two were taken with my iPhone.
