A few weeks ago we spent a Thursday afternoon & evening at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. We were pleased to discover that there are concerts in the Sculpture Garden on Thursday evenings. While enjoying the concert I thought to try out a new panorama app on my iPhone — Dermandar. A strange name, but a great app…and it is free. While the image posted here is a pretty standard panorama, visit the uploaded image on the Dermandar website, and the image is actually a wide angle VR. Check it out here.

I have two more examples online at Dermandar. One of the wall at Cafe Portofino with my canvases from last Sunday’s ArtWalk (here), and the other that I took at the Eye on Long Island photography show opening last Sunday. The image is of the section of the show where my photo of Northport Harbor is hung (here). None of these are great, or even good, photos, but they give you an idea of what Dermadar can do.

The iPhone app is available from iTunes, and you can also create panoramas on the website at demandar.com.
