Julianna’s big sister loves ballet. She takes class on Mondays, and during the Christmas holiday she watched the Nutcracker on Netflix over and over again, watching and dancing, dancing and watching.
A new year, and a new year of daily photos for my blog, and I cannot go any further without posting a photo of a perfect little model, my littlest granddaughter, Julianna. She is so photogenic, as is her big sister, who I will feature tomorrow. Santa brought me a new flash for my nikon, and I loved using it to get some really excellent, shadow-free photos of the girls.
We arrived in Arizona yesterday, and today I had the opportunity to take my first photos of Brianna & Julianna.

A Veteran’s Day salute to the veterans in my immediate family. My father (Marines), and my husband’s father (Army), and my mother (Navy) served during World War II. My husband is a Vietnam ear Air Force veteran. My stepson is a Staff Sargent in the Army, his wife was in the Army when they met, and both served a tour of duty in Iraq. I am very proud of my family, and especially proud of my stepson Brian.
I cannot post a picture of our oldest grandniece (yesterday), without posting a photo of her adorable little sister.
We had such fun visiting with our two-year old grandniece and her baby sister.
I have been attempting to sort through my virtual stacks of photos, and in doing so came across some interesting photos that I overlooked. This is one of my grandniece, Chloe, when she was only a few months old. She is now over two and have a four month old baby sister. How time flies!
