I don’t know what this tree is, but going under it is like being under a giant umbrella. I have to remember to ask the name of the tree when we come back in two weeks.

Driving across Texas on Interstate 10, we stopped at a rest stop for a bathroom break. I had my iPhone in my pocket, and on the way back to the car this tree called out to me. A quick snap and we were back on our way, but I just knew it was a good shot. iPhone image edited on the iPad
Driving on the eastern shore of Virginia, on our way to New Bern, North Carolina, we stopped at the rest stop just before crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. I took this photo with the iPhone and transferred it to my iPad for processing. I love the look of these spreading Live Oak trees. This one was in a nearby cattle pasture — I don’t know where the cows were!
