April 21 – This must have been a majestic house in its day, high on a hill over looking San Diego harbor. One can only imagine the hours spent in the widow’s walk, waiting for a ship to come home.
April 17 – Something about the churches of the Southwest that I find so inspiring. Maybe because many of them were originally built as missions during the nineteenth century. This church is in Ajo, Arizona.

It reminded me of the statues in the FDR Memorial in Washington, DC. — The same type of rendered figures. Magnificent!
Walking around New York City never ceases to amaze me. I never did find out who these dancers were or what it was being filmed for, but they were fun to watch.
I am back to going through the photos I took in New York City this past spring and summer. We are gearing up for a trip to Hawaii to visit family later this month, but until then I think I will be going through the city photos to find any that have to do with art.
