April 6 — Leaving the Texas Hill Country behind, we headed southwest towards Del Rio and stopped in the early afternoon at the Lost Maple Stste Natural Area. A very pretty state park on the Sabinal River. The day was rainy and overcast, but the weather cooperated enough for us to enjoy the outdoor setting — and for an amazing sunset.
