Would you believe fake alligators?

Two fun photos today from a bicycle ride around Shark Valley Loop in the Everglades National Park. Wildlife abounds in the park, but we were really surprised to see several alligators sunning on the side of the trail not 100 yards from the beginning of the ride. I stopped to take a picture, and upon closer inspection it was obvious that the gator was not real. We saw a real alligators on our ride, so it is hard to understand why the park service would try to fool tourists with fake ones.
