I thought it would be interesting to post a image before and after editing in Adobe Lightroom. This RAW photo was taken with my Panasonic and imported into Lightroom 4 Beta — FYI, there are some changes and enhancements in the Lightroom upgrade from version 3 to 4, but basically, it works the same. As I have said in the past, I import all of my photos into Lightroom and do some basic editing to bring out the best in the photo. It is always best to begin with an image that is able to stand on its own before editing, and use the editing software to make the image POP. I found this particular image interesting because of the insect climbing on the flower petal.
