I just started going through the photographs of our granddaughter that I took on our visit to Arizona. There are so many, it is difficult to know where to start! This is Brianna.
This blog is not about video, but I have one more video to post — to show off my granddaughter Brianna, AND to demonstrate the video editing feature in the new Lightroom 4 Beta. With Lightroom 3, the current version, you can import video, but videos cannot be edited. With version 4, you can actually edit the video to make exposure and color corrections. Since the purpose of our visit to Arizona is to spend as much time as possible with our family — especially our granddaughters. That being said, my recent photo shots are mostly of the girls. Today was a happy day, and I was constantly snapping pictures with my nikon at the playground and later in the house. These two pictures show the spirit of the day…
These two photos are a follow-up to yesterday’s Brianna Ballerina. Eddie put the Nutcracker on for her before Christmas, and ever since she has been asking to see it (Netflix can be very useful) over and over again. She dances, and watches, and she tries new moves. Can’t wait to see what happens when she goes back to ballet class on Monday.
Julianna’s big sister loves ballet. She takes class on Mondays, and during the Christmas holiday she watched the Nutcracker on Netflix over and over again, watching and dancing, dancing and watching.
A new year, and a new year of daily photos for my blog, and I cannot go any further without posting a photo of a perfect little model, my littlest granddaughter, Julianna. We arrived in Arizona yesterday, and today I had the opportunity to take my first photos of Brianna & Julianna.

The family lives in an old house on the property of a the non-profit Huych Preserve, of which our niece’s husband is director. I don’t know how old the how is, but it…Continue Reading “Birthday Girl…”
