The definition of a flash mob (or flashmob) is “a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time, then quickly disperse. The term flash mob is generally applied only to gatherings organized via telecommunications, social media, or viral emails…” A friend sent me the link to this YouTube video of a flash mob that may have been pointless, but it certainly made many people happy, including me when I saw the video for the first time.(I know this doesn’t really fit in my PhotoBlog, but it was something I just wanted to share.)
