Another photo from my archives, taken last October in Hollywood, California: At the corner of La Brea & Hollywood Blvd. are four silver statues representing four leading ladies from Hollywood’s golden era — Mae West, Dorothy Dandridge, Anna Mae Wong and Dolores Del Rio. (I have to admit that I never heard of Anna Mae Wong). This photo is of the Dorothy Dandridge statue, with a bit of old-time photo embellishment.
