NYC…

Mother’s Day was a perfect Sunday to stroll in downtown New York — and it was fun snapping photos along the way. I had two cameras with me, my Panasonic for images I wanted to capture in RAW format for later work, and my iPhone for photoblog images. All the images in this post were captured with the iPhone and processed in Adobe Photoshop Touch on the iPad — it is so convenient now that photos taken with the iPhone automatically upload to iCloud as soon as the iPhone connects to WiFi.

Not a forest, but West 28th Street.
Lots of people everywhere we went.
Bicycles at Paragon Sports, Union Square
The scene across the street from Paragon.
A street fair in NoHo.
Chinatown fish monger. What a smell!
Desert at La Churreria on Mulberry Steet. Yum!

iPhone photos, edited & uploaded on the iPad

A bit of trivial information — Yesterday I uploaded this same post. The iPhone photos were processed on the iPad, saved to Dropbox, and posted to the blog. I posted from my Mac, because I wanted to use thumbnail images, which is not possible from the iPad. However, when you clicked on the thumbnail the larger image was much too large. It was necessary to filter the images through Lightroom (only one way of doing it) to reduce the size and give the larger images a better fit in the blog window. In case you are interested!
